Agent Orange Revisited

The following may offer some lateral insight into chemical warfare:

The use of Agent Orange has been controversial in New Zealand, because of the exposure of New Zealand troops in Vietnam and because of the production of Agent Orange for Vietnam and other users at an Ivon Watkins-Dow chemical plant in Paritutu, New Plymouth. There have been continuing claims, as yet unproven, that the suburb of Paritutu has also been polluted; see New Zealand in the Vietnam War. There are cases of New Zealand soldiers developing cancers such as bone cancer but none has been scientifically connected to exposure to herbicides. A controversial television documentary was broadcast in New Zealand on TV3 called “Let us Spray”. As of 2019 this documentary can be found on YouTube. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-IZDcSAzoU)

Miracle vaccination at Auckland beaches

Posted by te2ataria on December 27, 2018

[WARNING: SEVERE Karmic Events in Progress!]

Welcome to the MOST HEAVILY CENSORED blog in New Zealand [and across all other ZOMBIE lands!] We’re GUILTY, above all, of TELLING the TRUTH, EXPOSING police BRUTALITY and govt CORRUPTION! NZ government spends tens of millions of taxpayers’ dollars spying on ordinary people and having blogs like this one censored.

Sent by a reader in ‘sanitary pads” city

Want a super immune system? Come take the plunge at Auckland beaches!

How to Become an honorary “Aucklandyte”

Don’t listen to the cynical Safeswim telling you the water in Auckland’s summer “hot spots” is too dirty for swimming!!

What Audacity!!
Milford South, Mission Bay, Point England and St Heliers beaches have been coded “black”, meaning “a very high risk of illness from swimming.”

Up to 20 other popular swimming spots on the North Shore in West Auckland have been coded “red”, for “a high risk of illness from swimming.”

What are the contaminants [“vitamin fortification”,] and where do they come from? Fortunately, there are numerous items from multiple sources:

Human faeces, vampire teabags [sanitary pads,] used condoms, birds, dogs and livestock poop, AND massive volumes of untreated raw sewage from onsite wastewater systems, wastewater overflows and storm water pipes.

Did you know visitors from several countries defecate in NZ’s coastal waters as a matter of natural course?

Thankfully, people are not prevented from boosting their immune system by taking an early morning swim, or a mid-afternoon plunge in the golden waters.

“People can do what they will with that information. We don’t close beaches and we don’t tell people not to swim…certainly in terms of where wastewater overflows have gone off I think people should definitely pay attention to where that is the case because for a period of time after that overflow has gone off it is genuinely higher risk to swim,” said Safeswim programme manager Nick Vigar.

Traffic congestion costs Auckland about $2b a year

[Aucklandyte: A lower-functioning subspecies of humanoid that inhabits extortionately-priced cave-quality dwellings and enjoys human feces and sanitary pads in their water, and day-long traffic congestion on motorways…]

“If the average speed across the Auckland network was close or equal to the speed limit, which is also known as free-flow, we estimate the benefits of decongestion during weekdays at between $1.4 and $1.9 billion (between 1.5% and 2%) of Auckland’s GDP),” says a report.

If insufficiently treated, exhaust and sewage from ships can fog the air and pollute the water, potentially causing a host of ugly environmental and health effects that undermine the very natural beauty that cruise ships advertise to potential travelers.”  https://www.theguardian.com/sustainable-business/2015/jan/05/cruise-ship-holidays-environmental-impact

How environmentally friendly is your cruise holiday?

“An estimated 24 million passengers are expected to cruise the world’s oceans in more than 220 cruise ships this year, up from 19.1 million in 2010. But these giant floating playgrounds leave an enormous environmental impact.  Many large ocean liners run on giant diesel engines, which can stand at more than three stories tall and span the length of two school buses. This equipment, along with smaller auxiliary engines, can emit dangerous levels of sulfur dioxide. Curbing these emissions could prevent 14,000 premature, air pollution-related deaths and save the US $110bn by 2020.”  https://www.theguardian.com/sustainable-business/2016/jun/12/cruise-ships-environment-ocean-liners-emissions-waste

Other News in Drips…

No road fatality report allowed by police today, as of writing, despite at least two dozen known serious crashes. At least, it would save MoT time and money not having to resurrect the road carnage victims.

Fake Freedom of Information

Road Fatalities and Police Censorship

Both the actual number of road fatalities and cases of statistical resurrections performed by the Ministry of Transport (MoT) over the September 22-24 weekend remain UNKNOWN.

No. of dead people resurrected by MoT on Sept. 26, 2017 : at least ONE

  • At least FIVE, possibly as many as SEVEN, people were killed in serious crashes on Wednesday, August 23, according to a informed source, but only three fatalities were reported by police.
  • On Monday, August 28, police reported at least THREE road fatalities. All three victims seem to have been statistically resurrected by the Ministry of Truth (Minitru).
  • At least nine road fatalities occurred over the weekend (September 1 – 2), according to reliable insider information. However, only four of the deaths were reported by police, and of those, just three recorded by the Ministry of Transport.
  • Between September 18 and 21, 2017 at least SIX road fatality victims were resurrected by MOT.

Of an estimated 2,000 people who have received near-fatal/critical/serious injuries on New Zealand roads so far this year, none has perished, according to NZ police reports, or lack thereof.

Welcome to the World’s Deadliest Tourist Destination – Truth about NZ Deadly Roads, as We Know it:

  • Based on insider information, statistical models and local news, we believe about 900 people were killed and more than 8,000 others seriously/critically injured on NZ suicide roads in 2016; however, only 328 fatalities were reported last year. [For every 12 or so victims, who die later in a hospital, only one death is reported. See blog content.]
  • To protect the tourist industry and massive foreign investment, about two out of every three road fatalities go unreported, or the dead are statistically resurrected by NZ government.

The Department of Internal Affairs allowed billionaire Peter Thiel to redact key information from his citizenship file, a decision later criticised by the Ombudsman who said the saga attracted ‘public disquiet.’”

To allay fear, NZ tap water not yet tested for microplastics, naturally!

Posted by te2ataria on September 16, 2017

Sent by a reader in Microplastics Capital of NZ

Tiny time bombs releasing toxins in parts of our body where other weapons cannot reach

To keep our minds at rest, the only land animals in which the consumption of microplastics has been closely studied are two species of earthworm and a nematode.

Microbeads are tiny plastic particles used as an abrasive in many personal care products. They are commonly found in products like facial scrubs, soaps and shampoos. Credit: greatlakes.org/campaigns/microbead-menace/

Microplastics, or microbeads, and tiny plastic fibers and fragments, absorb toxic chemicals commonly found in the water. They are mistaken for food by small fish and wildlife, which are consumed by larger animals and humans.

However, the biggest proportion of microplastic pollution “are fibres shed by synthetic textiles and tyre dust from roads, with more from the breakdown of waste plastics.”

According to a recent research, published in the journal Environmental Science and Technology, about 430,000 tonnes of microplastics are being added to European fields each year, and 300,000 tonnes in North America. [China’s share would be about 500,000 tonnes, with India and ROW contributing an additional 750,000 tonnes.]

“The scale of global microplastic contamination is only starting to become clear, with studies in Germany finding fibres and fragments in all of the 24 beer brands they tested, as well as in honey and sugar. In Paris in 2015, researchers discovered microplastic falling from the air, which they estimated deposits three to 10 tonnes of fibres on the city each year, and that it was also present in the air in people’s homes.”

Microplastics have also infested the world’s drinking water.

About 83 percent of the drinking water samples collected on five continents tested positive for the presence of plastic fibers, says Orb Media.

Sources of Invisible Plastics [Source: Orb Media]

1.  SYNTHETIC FIBERS IN THE WASH
Synthetic clothes like fleece, acrylic, and polyester emit thousands of microscopic fibers with every wash. An estimated 1 million tons of these tiny fibers are discharged into wastewater each year, where more than half evade treatment and escape into the environment.

2. TIRE DUST
Styrene butadiene tire dust is washed into sewers, and from there into streams, rivers, and oceans. Cars and trucks emit more than 20 grams of tire dust for every 100 kilometers they drive. It adds up. Norway [population 5.3 million,] for example, produces a kilogram of tire and road dust each year for every Norwegian woman, man, and child.

[Norwegian vehicles were driven 44.3 billion kilometres on Norwegian and international roads in 2015. Comparably, total distance driven in New Zealand [population 4.8 million] is estimated at about 45 billion kilometres in 2015.]

3.  PAINTS
Dust from road markings, ship paint, and house paint contribute more than 10 percent of
microplastic pollution in the oceans. Studies show that paint dust coats the ocean surface.

4.  SECONDARY MICROPLASTICS
At least 8 million tons of mishandled plastic waste washes into the world’s oceans, rivers and lakes each year. These forks, bags, straws, and takeout containers churn and fragment in the frigid seas, breaking down into ever-smaller pieces to join the marine and human food chains — the microplastics of the future. We have produced more plastic in the last 10 years than in the entirety of the last century.

5.  SYNTHETIC FIBERS IN THE AIR
Scientists are only beginning to examine how microscopic fibers reach the atmosphere, and their role as a source of land and marine pollution. One guess is that common abrasion
— the simple friction of your limbs brushing against each other — causes clothing fibers to
break off into the air. like a cat shedding fur.  A 2015 study in Paris estimated that between
three and 10 tons of airborne fibers reach that city’s surface each year.

6.  MICROBEADS
Banned in facial cleaners and some cosmetics in the US. and Canada, it is estimated that more than 8 trillion microbeads polluted U.S. waterways in 2015.

Microplastics in Auckland Water

Up to 15 per cent of Auckland’s tap water is taken from the Waikato River, downstream from the city of Hamilton and wastewater treatment plants.

“Plastic microfibres leach endocrine-disrupting chemicals and carry persistent organic pollutants in increasing concentrations up through our food chain,” said Dr Trisia Farrelly, who co-founded the New Zealand Product Stewardship Council, and specialised in research on plastic waste.

Microfibres were now present in most fish tested in New Zealand, she said.

Easter Monday is also

DAY 102 of the latest TOURISTS or truth? campaign in NZ

The reported (!) Easter holiday road fatalities stand at 4 as of this afternoon, with about 2 dozen or so serious injuries. http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/78309306/Fatal-crash-closes-highway-amid-Easter-holiday-traffic-queues

Based even on the government’s doctored data, an average of 25 crashes occur on NZ roads each day, resulting in 31 reportable injuries including 14 hospitalization (8 serious injuries) and at least one fatality [many more so during public holidays.]

That is 350 crashes over the past 14 days, ending in 434 reportable injuries including 196 hospitalization (112 serious injuries), and about 24 fatalities. But only a handful of crashes have been reported.

What happened to the remaining 330 or so crashes???

Truth hurts New Zealand tourism. The average tourist will not visit this country, if they knew true extent of the daily carnage on our deadly roads. Therefore:

About two-thirds of the road fatalities in New Zealand go unreported by our political police, or unrecorded by Ministry of Transport [“Minitru”.] This week there’s been a near total news censorship…

Censorship, news blackout and disinformation are serious threats to democracy, even one as fake and dysfunctional as ours!

About 2.7 million licensed drivers, half million or so unlicensed/unqualified drivers and more than one million tourists (per year) drive on New Zealand death roads.

A large number of the above drive a vehicle under the influence (illicit drugs, banned substances, prescription medication…), while intoxicated, fatigued or mentally unfit, resulting in inordinate numbers of fatalities and injuries. [Other factors for the carnage include deadly roads, road unworthy vehicles…]

More than 3,400 overseas visitors, international students, foreign workers and recent emigrants have lost their lives and about 18,000 others seriously injured in New Zealand since year 2000.

REMEMBER: Truth has an ugly habit of showing its tail!

Christchurch rowers dodge sewage on Avon River

Posted by te2ataria on January 22, 2016

China would likely reject water from Avon River, too!

Christchurch rowers train in an effluent-filled Avon River, according to a report.

It’s “disgusting” that Christchurch rowers train in the Avon River, which has sewage streaming into it, says Rowing New Zealand president John Wylie.

An Environment Canterbury (ECan) report released in December found Kerrs Reach, where the rowers train, and the Heathcote River’s Catherine St site were polluted by human faeces while at a base flow level.

Other river area’s had human faeces travelling through after high rainfall and often exceeded recreational guidelines during base flows, the report found.

“Rowers are seeing [sewage] all the time. We have no option but to go out in it,” Wylie said.

“I shudder to think of what they have to put up with.”

Different reasons given for our “clean and yellowish green miracle water”.

Tap water in parts of North Canterbury has been described as “crunchy” and has reportedly caused plants to die and people’s hair to fall out.

Affected residents say the odour and taste of the water makes it undrinkable, and it has been anecdotally linked to diarrhoea, stomach pain and rashes, particularly in children.

Hawke’s Bay company’s first shipment of drinking water rejected by China (OUCH!)

New water bottling company Miracle Water, near Hastings, sent its first shipment of drinking water to China late last year.

Company spokeswoman Louise Harvey said on arrival in China the water, which is drawn from the Heretaunga Plains, was found to contain nitrite levels too high for the local market.

“To class water as ‘spring or artesian’ for the New Zealand market the maximum level of the naturally occurring nitrite is 0.2mg/L while the Chinese maximum level is 0.005mg/L. Unfortunately the levels of nitrite were higher than the Chinese standard hence the product was returned,” she said. http://www.stuff.co.nz/business/76117504/hawkes-bay-companys-first-shipment-of-drinking-water-rejected-by-china

New Zealand to dump more cow manure on Chile

New Zealand to export more cow manure to Chile by outsourcing additional milk production!

“New Zealand’s intensive farming industries produce 4 times more manure than they could safely use as fertilizer. The leftover is discharged or washed off into NZ coastal waters.

Fonterra can become the biggest dairy exporter in the world by outsourcing  more of its milk production, says John Key!!

To that end, Chileans are being hoodwinked by the NZ Prime Minister to produce more milk for the dairy giant.

Fonterra produces 17 billion litres of milk a year in New Zealand and buys an additional 5 billion liters “to produce product in other countries like Chile to process and export to a third country,” according to a report by Newstalk ZB.

“We’re already producing five billion offshore, that number could grow dramatically and all of a sudden Fonterra becomes not just a large dairy company on a worldwide scale it potentially becomes the global champion and the biggest in the world,” said the PM.

Sewage City’s Faecal Beach Closed, Again!

Posted by te2ataria on February 6, 2010

“Don’t shit where you eat” – Billie Goatspeare

Translation for the uninitiated:

Wellington’s Owhiro Bay beach closed due to sewage contamination, AGAIN!

What is it that our friends at Wellington City Council find so difficult to understand?

When you dump untreated [or partially treated] faeces of 400,000 people into the local bay, the beaches are bound to be contaminated with faecal matter.

Owhiro Bay beach water was found to be contaminated with enterococci at high levels likely to cause a health hazard [read: likely to kill fish,] Wellington City Council said.

The most common types of enterococci, like the species infesting most of New Zealand’s coastal waters, come from human intestines.

The warning was the second in NINE DAYS that the level of faecal contaminants were likely to cause serious health hazards.

Wellington council has again urged people to stay clear of the water in the area until the fish consume the enterococci in the water.

“Ingesting the contaminated water could cause diarrhoea, stomach cramps and vomiting, along with infection to cuts and skin lesions.” A report said.

According to the “Wellington Council Infrastructure Director,” Stavros Michael, the source of the contamination was not obvious.

The blog nominates the Wellington Council Infrastructure Director for the 2010 NZ Honesty Award, honestly!

Pathology:
Important clinical infections caused by Enterococcus include urinary tract infections, bacteremia, bacterial endocarditis, diverticulitis, and meningitis.

Man-eating sea slug warning at Auckland beaches

Posted by te2ataria on February 5, 2010

Sea Slugs at Auckland Beaches Don’t Eat Flesh, Our Sharks DO!

The Poisonous Slugs Just Kill Humans!

For the umpteen times in less than a flash, Auckland health authorities are warning people against coming in contact with highly poisonous sea slugs.

The warning came after a “near miss” involving a four-year-old toddler who came into contact with a slug yesterday evening, according to her father.

Even a small dose of the powerful poison could kill healthy adults, let alone children, in less than an hour.

“This is the nearest miss we have had. Clearly, sea slugs are still just off our beaches, and still pose a threat,” Auckland Regional Public Health Service medical officer of health Simon Baker said, NZPA reported.

Steer Clear of Deadly Sea Slugs on New Zealand Beaches: Poisoned Sea Slugs and Dead Fish Piling Up on New Zealand Beaches Can Kill You in Under 60 minutes!

Sea slugs swarming Hauraki Gulf beaches were found to carry tetrodotoxin (TTX), a deadly poison also carried by puffer fish, the report said.

In Autumn 2009, dozens of dogs fell ill after eating the slugs on Auckland beaches and at least dozen of them died (only five reported by the media.)

“It’s second nature to most people to ensure children and animals are carefully watched when swimming and playing to avoid hazards and accidents.

“However, we want people to be a little more cautious about what they handle on Hauraki Gulf beaches, particularly at Narrow Neck and Cheltenham on the North Shore,” Dr Baker said.

Prior death, victims of TTX poisoning may feel numbness and tingling around their mouths, followed by nausea, which usually progresses to incoordination, slurred speech and paralysis.

People coming in contact with a sea slug in New Zealand are strongly advised to seek immediate medical attention.

Why We Call Wellington Sewage City (Other than for Obvious Reasons)

Sewage contamination at Wellington beach

Wellington City Council this afternoon warned swimmers to avoid Owhiro Bay waters, and erected pollution-warning signs after it detected sewage contamination.

Their test showed a large concentration of enterococci, which means  microbiological pollution, including sewage was present.  The pollution level was [highly] likely to cause a health hazard. In fact, the contamination level was so high, it probably killed other bacteria in the water.

Meanwhile, the E.coli count in Rona Bay in Eastbourne and Hutt River at Birchville fell below “deadly” and the two reopening for swimmers. However, if you have any cuts, bruises, or skin lesions, avoid the waters!

What caused the contamination? The government says it doesn’t know!
