Damn right! NZ is dishonestly over-promoted. Virtually every German I tell that I’m a Kiwi says ‘…ah, my favourite country to which I’ve never been’! Part of the problem is that ‘New Zealand’ means ‘New Sealand’ or ‘new land in the sea’ – Germans and Dutch interpret the name (too) literally. I grew up in NZ believing ‘New Zeeland’ meant ‘new land with ZEAL’ -hah!

I’m bitching ’cause there was a toxic shellfood ban when I holidayed in Papamoa last December.
