A second person has died following a crash on a one-way bridge on Turitea Road, Palmerston North on 3 June, poolice said.
The second victim died in hospital in Christchurch Hospital on June 13 after a crash that had already claimed the life of a 28-year-old woman.

Update: Fatal crash near Timaru
Monday, 11 June 2018 –
Police can now confirm that the fatal crash this morning between Pleasant Point and Timaru involved a car and a tractor. The tractor driver died at the scene. The driver of the car has been transported to hospital and their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

It was established a ute had crashed and that a 50-year-old man who was inside the vehicle was declared deceased at the scene. A 21-year-old man, who was also in the vehicle, was flown by helicopter to Dunedin Hospital.
