Another prisoner has been executed extrajudicially in Auckland Prison.

A spokeswoman for the Auckland South Corrections Facility at Wiri said the man was “taken ill” at 4.05pm. “The prisoner was pronounced dead at 4.55pm,” she said.

A court in Northern Ireland has heard about a man who resisted police and called a Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) officer, originally from New Zealand, a “fat Australian cunt,” the Derry Journal reported.

District Judge Barney McElholm told the man in the dock: “If you called a Kiwi an Australian you are very lucky he was a disciplined police officer.”

Auckland motorway gridlocked from smashes which close northbound lanes

NZ dumped an additional 200,000 tonnes of human excreta in coastal waters last year
The number of visitors arriving in New Zealand continued to break records.  Some 444,900 tourists arrived in December, the highest-ever monthly figure.

The biggest increase was in visitors from China, up 11,000 (43 per cent) from December 2014.

Statistics New Zealand said annual visitor arrivals reached a record 3.13 million, up 10 per cent from 2014.

The tourists produced about 200,000 tonnes of human excreta last year, which Mr Key dumped in our rivers and coastal waters.
