Nincompoop police are investigating how Ms. Dunlop’s ute (pickup truck) caught fire!  New Zealand Govt does not release statistics concerning the inordinate number of cars that catch fire, go out of control, or disintegrate on New Zealand roads causing many  deaths and many more near-fatal injuries. [Update: Jessica Amie Leigh Ramsey “was thrown from the car she was travelling in when it left the road on a bend north of Whakaki, 18km north of Wairoa, hit a bank and rolled a number of times. She was taken to Hawke’s Bay Hospital with serious head injuries but died on Sunday.
