Or lifting it as it were…

A massive bloom of toxic algae in Port Underwood has contaminated tons of shellfish with a toxin that could kill humans.

The Nelson Marlborough Public Health Unit has warned the public not to take or eat shellfish from Port Underwood until further notice. [Was the shellfish ever healthy in that sewage dump?}

“Routine testing of shellfish had shown “higher than acceptable levels” of the toxin causing Diarrhetic Shellfish Poisoning (DSP) in the area since March 5, according to the unit’s medical officer of health, Dr Ed Kiddle.”  The Marlborough Express reported.

Bashed Auckland teens ‘critical but stable’

In New Zealand, most of the victims of violent crimes, police shooting or police pursuits, are random/ “innocent” bystanders.

A young couple were viciously bashed, apparently at random, in a west Auckland park on the weekend. They are both in a critical but stable condition, police quoted the hospital doctors as say.

“A 19-year-old man, with a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain, was found in Starling Park, Ranui about 7am yesterday shortly before a 17-year-old woman with multiple facial injuries turned up at a nearby house seeking help.” NZPA said.

Another Auckland teacher faces sex charges

Kiwis have a love affair with illicit (unlawful, forbidden, unnatural, immoral, disgusting, depraved … ) sex: paedophilia, zoophilia, necrophilia, paraphilia, incest … [Search blog contents for ample examples!]

Nicholas Raymond Baldwin, 62, an Auckland school teacher, allegedly sexually abused a student for two years.  he “coaxed and groomed a primary school student into a close relationship before committing sex offences against him, a jury was told today.”

“He is charged with eight counts of performing an indecent act, two counts of unlawful sexual connection and one count of meeting a young person following sexual grooming between January, 2007, and September, 2008.” Media reported.

Spy base accused acted in self defence, court told

There are stories about UFOs and aliens, snakes and lizards … who control our destiny. And there are two types of people who spread these stories: Those with a twinkle in their eyes, and desperate idiots with large, sad sunken eyes.

The truth? All of these stories are created by the wealthy class to protect their stash from the rest of us.

A war has been waged against humanity, since early 1800s. People like John Key can only thrive, if the rest of us are oppressed. Otherwise, neither wealth, nor poverty could be meaningful.

It’s about “order.” And to maintain that order, they have devised an elaborate system at our expense: The appointed government, military machine, the spy network, the police and judiciary.

Adrian Leason, Peter Murnane and Sam Land, the three antiwar activists who allegedly slashed a giant condom covering a government spy satellite dish, appeared in the Wellington District Court today  charged with various offences at the government spy base in Waihopai, near Blenheim, last April.

The three “allegedly committed two acts of willful damage – cutting a fence and slashing an inflatable dome covering a satellite dish – and a third of burglary by being in the yard belonging to the Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB).” Media said.

The three defendants have admitted they destroyed the dome but insisting that they acted in self-defence.

The trial may last for up to two weeks.

The blog hereby declares its full support for these three good people.
