Abducted Thai woman finally declared dead
Jindarat Prutsiriporn, 50, was finally declared dead. She was abducted in Auckland, brutally beaten, bound and gagged and thrown out of a moving car. Prutsiriporn had some involvement in the organised crime scene within Auckland, police said. She had spent two and a half years in jail for drug offences, yet she was not deported. She had a blue dolphin tattoo under her left buttock, which identifies the gang she belonged to!

Tied-up woman who jumped from car in Papatoetoe was a Thai national
The woman who jumped bound and gagged from a moving car in Papatoetoe on Tuesday night has been identified as a 50-year-old Thai woman who lived in Auckland.
Police say that the woman, who “suffered life-threatening head injuries”, remains in Middlemore Hospital in critical condition.

Coroner rules yet another death in NZ “accidental”
A coroner has ruled the death of UK man, Sean Anthony O’Connor, 33, was accidental. The victim’s parents, Kevin and Marie, attended the inquest in Hamilton last month.
“During the inquest, Mrs O’Connor said the area where her son died was a “death trap” and urged that fencing be erected to prevent a similar death in the future”, according to a report.
However, Mr Matenga ruled Mr O’Connor’s death was accidental.

“Even though it was the middle of the night, there would have been sufficient light for him to be aware that the ground was dropping away sharply. Sean was where he should not have been and made a serious error of judgment.
