And, why are Aussies being accused of picking a child-molester to be their most admired man!
Thankfully, by the time you read about the Americans, you are well prepared for the shock: Michelle and [Brownnosing] Barack [Obsequious] Obama took the top spots in the USA. Is that even consistent with some of the other polls that are only partially rigged?
What about the UK? “Stephen [Why?] Hawking and the Queen came out on top in the UK.”
As for the world’s most favorite critters, some 7.5 billion people [just kidding] chose Bill [I-want-it-all] Gates as their most admired man, and Angelina Jolie the most admired woman in the world since 2015.
Pope Francis was booted out of the world’s top 10 because of his views on immigration and carpet-bombing, while the U.S. Messiah, Donald Trump, and Mark [I-don’t-have-to-work-for-my-money] Zuckerberg jumped into the top 20 for the first time.

Punching police officer escapes conviction
Timaru constable Marcus John Dominey, 38, a Canterbury police officer who repeatedly punched a handcuffed youth in the back of a patrol car has today escaped a conviction.
The worthless officer was allegedly spat at, taunted, and “clearly provoked” before the assault happened in June 2014, a court was told.
Judge Raoul [corruption-is-good-for-justice] Neave said the officer should be “praised to the skies” for his actions, calling him a “hero”.

Woman dies of heart attack after car chased by police crashes into her house
The victim, Maureen Houghton, 72, and her husband of 51 years, Gary, were asleep at 12.15am when they awoke to a shudder.
A Hamilton teen in a hot police pursuit lost control of a stolen car and crashed into Houghton’s Hamilton home. [Were the idiots also trying to recover the stolen car intact?]
The 72-year-old grandmother of five suffered a heart attack, most probably triggered by the crash, and died several hours later.
[Our condolences go to family of the deceased. Please, don’t let the police off the hook easily!]

At least one person was killed was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Northland this morning.
“Northland road policing manager Inspector Wayne Ewers said after an initial examination of the scene it appeared a bus carrying 14 school students, understood to be travelling southbound towards Dargaville on SH12 Mamaranui, had stopped on the road and was about to turn right into a gravel area to collect or drop off students (!)”

A man has died after the car he was driving collided with a truck in Northland – the second fatal accident in the region on Friday.
