Ministry of Transport adds to the road toll by subtraction [when they think no one is watching!]
The officially-doctored NZ road toll stood at 83 on Tuesday morning (March 13), according to the Ministry of Resurrection [aka, Ministry of Transport.]

Then came the news that a driver, critically injured in Gisborne on Saturday, had died in the intensive care unit at Waikato Hospital on Monday afternoon.
Then it was revealed that the victim, 29-year-old Wairoa man Terito Takekerekere Brown, was a passenger in the ute, not the driver, as earlier reported.
Soon afterwards, the police denied that the crash had occurred on Saturday:
