The mail in New Zealand has three predators: The postie, your neighbors, and NZ SIS [or other secret police organizations.]

The postie is after money and valuables in the envelope; your pakeha neighbor looks for anything and everything, especially your photos and private items; the NZ SIS and secret police look for any information they could use against you.

In the latest [reported] incident a Christchurch postal worker (postie), Stephen James Cadigan, who has been employed by New Zealand Post for 35 years, admitted stealing hundreds of items of mail over the last six years.

After he was caught red handed, the 50-year-old pakeha thief  pleaded guilty to the charges.

“Cadigan was a team leader in charge of the management of the branch where he worked, with responsibility for staff including posties.

“Police prosecutor Sergeant Tu Maaka said Cadigan would unlock the branch first thing in the morning and spend 15 or 20 minutes alone with the mail before other staff arrived.” A report said.

Between January 1 to May 15 this year he admitted to stealing  30 items of mail per day.

He removed valuable items including cash, gift vouchers, or lottery tickets, and store the mail in his work locker.

“The police found that over a period this year, 559 items had been opened by Cadigan. They were found in his locker.”

He was caught in May apparently while trying to buy groceries with stolen  supermarket vouchers.

Jan Molenaar Was an Ordinary Man

May be he was no folk hero, but he wasn’t a monster either! He was just an ordinary bloke protecting his partner!

Hundreds, possibly several thousands, of friends family even total strangers gathered to farewell Jan Molenaar at his funeral in Hastings today.

NZ SAS shot Molenaar three times, killing him with the first shot. The police initially said two of the three shots fired at him were fatal.

Now they have changed their story again: “Molenaar was found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound when police entered his Chaucer Rd home on Saturday,” one false report said.

He had returned home from a walk on Thursday last week to find the police bullies interrogating his Maori partner as they turned his house upside down looking for a cannabis plant.

He repeatedly warned the officers to live his partner alone, but they became cockier. As they were about to turn on him, the victim shot three of them. One died.

“Molenaar was initially taken to Ruahapia Marae near Hastings before being transported this morning on the back of a customised Ford V8 truck to Crestwood Chapel in the city.” A report said.

“Family members rode on the back of the truck while a procession of motorcycles followed closely.”

Tributes flowed for Molenaar in the Hawke’s Bay Today newspaper:

“My dear son. May you be at peace with yourself. We all love you,” his father wrote.

Perhaps,  the most poignant tribute came from his Maori partner. Molenaar’s partner Delwyn Keefe said she was the luckiest person to have had him in her life and he had left her with golden years to treasure.

“A great man with a big heart and a smile that would light up the world,” she wrote.

His siblings thanked him for their years together.

“Bye for now big brother.”

His body would probably be cremated to remove any and all evidence to prevent a future autopsy by an independent coroner.

As was totally expected, the Independent Police Conduct Authority has decided not investigate police actions that led to the armed siege Molenaar’s home in Napier because, you guessed it, “he shot himself [sic.]”

You can’t fool all of the people all the time!

Catering workers at the New Zealand Air Force Ohakea “defence” base near Palmerston North are reportedly planning to strike over wages on April’s Fools day.

Their Service and Food Workers Union (SFWU) spokesperson said the workers could not reach an agreement with Compass Group PLC, their employer, despite six months of negotiations.

“The strike action followed a 24-hour work stoppage on Monday,” a report quoted the union representative as saying.

The strike action comes amid an expensive and entirely unnecessary  “missile test” by NZ military which cost their taxpayer an estimated NZ$10 million.

Road death toll grows

‘If one half New Zealand population were run over by fully laden logging trucks and trailers in 2009, the number of road kills recorded by Land Transport NZ would still be smaller than the total for 2008.’ —A Mr Wolfie Watcher

A22-year-old man, who was the front seat passenger in a Nissan Pulsar was killed when the car smashed into a power pole on Vaughan Road  in Rotorua at about 1.40am [March 13, 2009.]

The victim died at the scene possibly because it took the emergency services too long to move him, “while the back seat passenger suffered a broken leg and the 19-year-old driver escaped with only minor injuries.” A report said.

Nincompoop police said the possibility of live cables from power pole harming them, made it difficult for emergency services to free the men from the wreckage.

The above was the 2009 Road Death # 102 [at least]

Meanwhile, a 19-year-old man was killed after the car he was a passenger in hit a lamp post in the Horowhenua on State Highway 57, south of Shannon, March 13, 2009, a police infector with central police communications said.

The 21-year-old driver suffered minor injuries, the police infector said.

Previously you read that  according to the perfidious pakeha at the Ministry of Transport the road death toll for 2008 was 359.

According to our contact, one of a handful of “pious pakeha,” however, the actual figure was 557 kills. See: New Zealand road toll for 2008 rose by at least 13% to 557 kills.

So Who was Telling the Truth?

Our insider guy, of course! We know that because:

1. He had nothing to gain, but risked losing everything by revealing the truth.
2. His figures were confirmed by the blog’s statistical model.

Massaging the road death toll – AGAIN

Had you visited the Road death statistics page at Land Transport NZ website at http://www.ltsa.govt.nz/research/toll.html on February 26, 2009, you would have noticed that the road deaths for the year to date were 66 dead. [The figure was already heavily massaged by omitting about 7 to 11 additional road deaths, however, other than our contact’s input, which accurately corresponds to the blog’s statistical model, there were no media/external reports of the additional deaths.]

A friend who visited the LTNZ website both yesterday and today [March 6, 2009,] informed me that the published figures for the 2009 road deaths to date stood at 68, and 0 (NIL )for the month of march.  [Check out the website at http://www.ltsa.govt.nz/research/toll.html ]

NZ Road Kills: Who is Telling the Truth?

NZ’s Road Toll for 2008 was 557, NOT 359

According to the perfidious pakeha’s  Ministry of Transport, the road toll for 2008 was 359.

However, our govt employee whistleblower says the true figure was at least 557 fatalities. Our expert statistician confirms the larger fatality figure of 557, and so does the holiday road toll.

Dead people tell lots of tales!

At least 16 people died on the roads in the Christmas holiday period 2007 which ended at 6am January 3, 2008 [At least 7 more than the previous year.]

The death toll for 2008-2009 holiday season, which will end tomorrow morning, stands at at least 21 [reported] fatalities so far. This figure is already 31% higher than last year’s, and counting.

Taking the holiday season as a representative sample, it’s clear that our whistleblower friend as well as our expert statistician are telling the truth, as  the Ministry of Transport charlatans continue cooking the numbers.

[January 5, 2009] UPDATE : The road fatalities for the holiday season were 24 reported deaths, an increase of 50% on last year’s reported 16 deaths.

[January 9, 2009] UPDATE : Holiday road toll continues to rise- now 25 dead. [Another 30 or so fatalities were reported during the holiday period, including death by drowning. ]

[January 15, 2009] UPDATE : The holiday road toll now stands at 26, after a man died on Friday from injuries sustained during the holiday period. [NZPA]

New Zealand fish liver oil supplement contained only 10 percent of the EPA claimed on its label

NZPA- A consumer watchdog in Hong Kong says more than 40 percent of the fish oils or fish liver oils tested there contained less fatty acids than claimed on the labels, and that a New Zealand product was one of the worst performers.

A New Zealand fish liver oil supplement, Kiwi House Arctic South-J, contained only 29.6 milligrams of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) per capsule instead of the 240mg claimed on its label, the Consumer Council told the Hong Kong Standard.

It said of the overall 28 samples tested, eight contained a level of Omega 3 fatty acid, and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), lower than claimed and four samples had less EPA .

And a Nature’s Fruit Alaska Deep Sea Fish Oil from the United States contained 71 percent less DHA than on its label: 26mg per capsule instead of 90mg. That sample also contained the highest amount of trans fat of 40.6mg per capsule.

The tests also found 12 samples to have been contaminated with pesticide DDT though the level was within safety standards.
